Surely you have read about the coder dojo movement that is sweeping the globe?

It's where mentors give up their saturdays for free, to teach kids to code. It has been running for less than a year and has already hit places as far flung as China and California. And it all started here in Ireland,, in cork to be exact. Lisa and I visited Bill Laoi the entrepreneur along with James Whelton who founded the movement. We hung out with the kids. I showed them the game I was making and we discussed how it might be used as an educational tool. We left inspired and totally geared up for our meeting with Adrian Bannon and Brendan Smith, who were looking for co-mentors to found a Galway Coder Dojo.

Lisa and I were at the founders meeting and have not missed a session yet. http://emc23.com/web-development-blog/281-coder-dojo-galway
